Default MSD Question

I use the 7AL 2 Plus in my stocker.
Bought back in 2009, do these units have to be checked out every once in awhile??

Yes it would not hurt to send it back to MSD and let them go through it. alot of folks do that as part of their off season maintenance.

I can`t speak for the 7AL, but I installed a MSD 6T in my bracket car almost 25 years ago, and have not had to touch it since. I have a 6AL in my Mustang, the origional box died while fairly new, but the 2nd box has been totally issue free for the past 11years. Seem to be pretty durable.

Techwest is the way to go for MSD repair. Sent two boxes back that I had problems with. Both boxes are now good as new. Had sent a brand new box back to MSD that had stopped working after about 10 minutes. They sent it back fixed but said they did not find anything wrong with it

Did you just have Techwest fix your boxes? Or did you have him do the extra stuff that he can do to them as well? And did you see any difference in them with the extra work if you did have it done?
Thanks
Rob

I have had two units repaired by Pat without any problems. He normally sends emails not much on phone calls.
