Re: Teching in question.
Well, I hope you can pull it off. Don't be too disappointed if you can't.

Re: Teching in question.
As you know I didn't make it to Columbus. However, I'm just outside of Grand Rapids on the way to Stanton. Had 0 intentions of making a pass. But if there is enough time ill take the car out on the streets and get my afrs dialed in and see if I can't get all the pump gas out of it. I didn't bring slicks tho :/

Re: Teching in question.
Thanks Art for pointing that out.
I was having a Deja Vu moment as I read the posts... We were in Altanta, and I was teched in with the Drag Pak. Drooze needed another point, since I had two and he only had one. As you can tell, we were a little compettive. So Drooze took my boat of a Pacifica that we had driven down to the track at Altanta just to get his second grade point. We knew he didnt need to actually go down the track, and that teching in was sufficient, but he never misssed the opportunity to go down the track. After that run, where he spun off the line, and then ended up going 24 seconds and some change, he told me was just stiing back, and listening to my Neil Diamond CD while he ran. He was so excited about his time slip... he ws showing it to everyone. You go Jimi! Sometimes when you march to a different beat. It is really all of the others who are out of step. Re: Teching in question.
I talked to Keith Lynch earlier, he is running the Mega Maniac with our spare motor up in Stanton since we grenaded the killer motor in columbus, (number 8 qualifier with our spare motor... not too bad. But wait until we get the next big horse engine built and ready for Indy)
..... but he told he saw you teching in up there... See Jimi, I am keeping an eye on, and expecting you to make it. David The New Hemi Guy |

Re: Teching in question.
I saw him. I didn't know he knew who I was. Of course I got a lot of funny looks anyway haha. I would of said hi, but I wasn't very social today. On top of the hustle to do all my own machine work, assemble, and install it all by myself in less than desireable conditions, drive all night etc... I think I have strep throat. A friend had it, and I seem to have all the miserable symptoms. I crashed in the truck and barely talked to anyone all day. I'm. On the way home now. Have to work tomorrow I'm hopefully about to finalize leasing the engine machine shop I used to work at... So hopefully that will make it easier to make it to the track.
