? for SS/GT NHRA
Does NHRA allow SS/ GT classes to run a vacuum pump ?
Or a remote oil filter.. (these headers are killin me)

Danny, I'm gonna say it's not allowed...what kind of car/engine/headers do you have? My 93 firebird with SBC is a tight fit but i can get the AC PF-35 oil filter in and out easy. Thanks to muskie of TOM'S pipes for fixing my hooker headers...Luke SS311

Danny and Ed...I agree with the vacuum pump if they allow it, I will be one of the first to put it on...Danny have someone fix the driver side header...I wish you were close muskie will be the man to fix it...Luke SS GT/ F 311

If you read Section 11A, Page 4 under Oil Pump in the rule book you will find that external connections are accepted for accumulators and remote filter. I convinced Bruce B. that most GT cars, and especially mine, could not use the original filter location with a rack and pinion under the front of the engine. He had this exception added to the book about two years ago.
