Re: Sunoco supreme
I absolutely agree with that. I`ve had 10 gallons in my stock gas tank all winter and have it pass the first race out. Also curious what some of you are paying for it.

Re: Sunoco supreme
hell the fastest pass my I/SA camaro has run was on 93 octane pump gas. Have run both C12 and sonoco supreme, don't really see a difference.

Re: Sunoco supreme
KCIR in Kansas City sells it for $7.50 a gallon. I have not had any problems with passing either.

Re: Sunoco supreme
In my 12.8:1 540 I have not seen a difference between Torco, Rockett, or VP. I did give Q16 a go but don' think I got the tune right and didn't see gains.

Re: Sunoco supreme
Chad, I wouldn't put C12 in an engine with no more compression than that. Too much octane can sure slow you down. It burns slower. C11 works well in lower compression engines. Usually need to add 5% or so WOT fuel (top 3 rows of your fuel map.)

Re: Sunoco supreme
purple is $9.00
blue is $10.00 at 2 local tracks in Maryland. I'm ready for E-85 but I'm afraid of my 13.6 CR and short duration cam. |

Not surprising. "Stale" gas usually passes. If you're "close", the problem is getting fresh gas to pass in 80 to 90 degree heat.
