Default Towing Chevy with Ford Dually.

ok, how many people tow a Chevy with a Ford? Just doesn't seem right. I found a heck of a deal on a low milage ford King Ranch Dually, bullet proofed 6.0. I here the 6.0 is a good engine if it has been bullet proofed.

Nothing wrong with that, out all of my friends that race, we all have Chevy cars and only a couple have Chevy trucks. I will note that just because a 6.0 is bulletproofed doesn't make it invincible ,I have two friends that blew them up also, coolant leaks even though they were studded..

That's what I've been towing with for years, Cummins. I had three Chevy trucks when I was younger .One brand new one and two used ones, none of them made it to 80,000 mi without tremendous expenses

Not that somebody out there has never had a problem with one, but the Cummins don't have to be "bullet proofed" because they seem to come that way.

The trucks themselves are also getting excellent reviews.

So if you are going to switch brands that is what I would look at.

I have a new 2020 Ram 3500 Dually that was brand new
in June and has 7000 Miles.

It currently lives at ram dealer for the last month and the say
they will not have repair parts till end of Nov. or Dec at earliest
(CP 4.2 pump wiped out fuel system) . Ram does not give a ***t

Jon Jr. had to hire an attorney to Lemon Law his 9 month old junk
2019 Ram 2019 that ate 2 engines in 12,000 Miles.

We are looking for a couple older 5.9 Rams or 7.3 Fords or our
racing the rest of year will be over!!
