Are they flat top or with valve relief or either
way? I never raced that year as I hate 2 Brl carbs.

yes, they are flat tops. but it seems the same pistion set can work from 68 to 88. if you pm your paypal amount, i will send the payment asap

I did some checking and the 68 to early 70s pistons have
4 VALVE notches similar to 72/73 340 engines. You need to use them rather than flat tops or you will have nearly zero valve clearance with a stocker camshaft with correct lift. Sorry I did not know the early engines had a different piston.
