Default class winner contingency - indy?

Ok... won class at Indy, and filled out the contingency check sheet at the tech trailer. Also filled out another contingency check sheet for SS semi-finalist.

Now, I go to NHRARacer.com - then Mello Yellow Series Contingency - then Chevrolet Performance US Nationals and tried to find out what they both pay. The columns for SS Class and SS Semis are both empty the whole way down the list.

http://www.nhra.com/competition/contingency-req.aspx

Anyone know if they really do pay?
If so.. where can you find a list?

thanks
tom sheehan

ps.... when did the Strange money go away? (quietly drifted away! - so I was told)

I was dead on zero in the second round at the Winter Nats (first race of the year) in Pomona this year. I was way jazzed, had the decal and the axles, thought I had a nice check coming. But noooooooooooooo, the Perfectly Strange went away at the end of 2013. I emailed Strange, sent a picture and a copy of the slip. They said congrats and sent me a hat.
Take your trophy and smile. If decal money is what you are after, bless you on your journey. The list is thin and the list of the ones who really pay is even thinner.

Welcome to the NEW NHRA, where contingency money is a thing of the past. Congrats on your showing at Indy, I think the trophy, your name and picture in the dragster, and whatever NHRA paid is what you get. Shame it's come to this.

I'm proud to say FAST will be writing checks to 18 class winners from Indy.

Ah crap that was the decision maker between moser and strange when I put the stocker together.. I figured going dead on zero was more attainable than winning an event! Wow I just realized Strange doesn't pay anything for divisionals anymore. Are they hurting now or something?
