Default Sears craftsman drill press

Just got a Sears 13 inch benchtop drill press with a load of tools I bought at an estate sale... No chuck key anybody know where to find a model number on this thing ???? I'v looked all over cannot find anything except on the motor and nothing that Sears recognizes. It has the numbers of JT39 and 13MM stamped on the chuck but nothing else--- Thanx Dick

Ain't Sears great? I'll never buy another Sears anything. The absolute worst customer service I've ever been exposed to from a store of that caliber. All their batteries go obsolete in a year. Can't get parts when you DO have a two year old part with a part number. (Portable air compressor in one of my cases.) Nope. No more Sears. Good luck with your drill press. I have a box of chuck keys you're welcome to try. Send a pic to www.IndyWinner@dslextreme.com - maybe I can help.

Sorry you had such bad luck-- No problems here just trying to find a chuck key-- The drill press is probably worth $200 plus I'll find a key will probably have to take the chuck out and go to the store and find one thought maybe someone new of a better way--- No need to get your shorts in a bind---Thanx to those who replied--- Comp 387
