We had a good time at the BIR banquet Sat. night.

I am happy to announce that we WILL be having S/SS combos at BIR in 2012!

Race dates:

MAY 11-13

(Div 5 points meet JUNE 2-3)

JUNE 8-10

JUNE 29-JULY1

JULY 20-22

AUG. 3-5

(Lucas Oil Nats. Aug. 16-19)

SEP8-9

I don't have all the details yet.
I will post as soon as I get them.
Thanks to all who came out and raced in 2011 to keep this going!

Glad to hear they will have S/SS next year and thanks again for making it happen this past year! I wish I could have made it to the banquet!

It's too bad they put three of the six races for 2012 on some of our closest divisional and national events!

Why run 1/8 mile on a National Event facility? Last race same weekend as Earlville may not be the best plan.

I think 1/8 mile would be fun, and it would be a lot easier on the track for maintenance without having the last half of the track to take care of. And it would be a faster run program. With the cost of preparing the track and the labor involved to do it I think it would help the track's bottom line.

Exclamation Re: 2012 bir race dates

Joe
WHAT IN THE HECK!!
Joe where in the f did you get that info!

IT WILL BE 1/4 MILE!!!

We are NOT going to run 1/8 mile!!!!

You need to think about the B.S. you put on here!
Will you please call me and find out what the TRUTH IS before you post it on here for the WHOLE WORLD to see & THEN have them POSSIBLY LED ASTRAY!

I have spent allot of time working to keep this deal going
and we do not need the roomers and JiBeR JAbBeR to wreck a good thing!
Please help to keep this thing going and stay positive.

As for the last race:
BIR is considering NOT having S/SS on that weekend in September.
The weekends posted were the only ones available for the track and staff
so we have to work with them and try to keep the S/SS combos going!

I know there is some overlap with other races some of you will be attending
and some will not be able to make it to all the combos.
But, please think about it, and try to attend the ones you can.
Every car counts!

Let's stay positive and try to keep this thing working for us!

Thanks
Glen DeMenge

Glen, don't get your blood pressure up you will have a stroke!!! What in the heck would be wrong with running 1/8th mile once in a while? The only thing that I could think of is that the race happens so fast that a racers mental capacity may not handle the action that fast. Know what I mean?
