"Heavy-Hitter" Chevelle?
Friend of mine attended the recent Epping LODRS race and saw a '68 or '69 Chevelle
stocker called "Heavy Hitter. Wasn't that a West Coast car at one time? |

I believe that car was orig. run by Rob Robinson from Ore.? If my memory serves he had some connection to baseball so hence the name.It was a hard running car in the late 80's,I think he sold it around 90'.The current owner has/had it for sale on here. gsa612

Donny Moulton was driving the car yesterday at the ASRA race at New England Dragway. I don't know who owns the car, I think Don is just driving it. He frequents this forum, hopefully he'll reply.

If my memory is right....it started as "Heavy Hitter" in Portland as Stark Street Pizza's Rob Robinson. Then the Emmons Bros, then to some guys in Kentucky then to Ohio.....

Danny Gracia originally owned the car and sold it to Delmer and Tony Wood who sold it to Rob Robinson. It was owned by the Emmons family for a while then went to someone in Kentucky. Can't tell you where it went from there.
