Brian

I have been using one since the Immokalee race. So far it has performed flawlessly. I bought the battery, charger and mounting bracket. The battery charges quickly after each run and uses about 20% of the capacity on a run. It's usually fully charged after 20 minutes after a run. One thing I have done is use a separate battery to run my fan and water pump when I cool down after a run. The charger for the lithium batter is designed to charge the batter only and not run the fan and pump
At the same time. I have a separate 16 V battery and I made a pigtail to plug in to my cooling system. The battery and mount weigh 10 lbs. that was 40 lbs weight savings over my 16 v lead acid battery. go Lithium said properly maintained the battery should last 10 seasons. I would recommend it based on my experience so far.

There has been a 16 volt Braille battery in Matt Welker's SS/AH Barracuda since last year. Check with him.

Brian,

Email me, I tell you who to speak with at Braille with any questions. We have them in all three cars, alt, no alt, every setup.

The new ones have 33% more power than the ones we are running.

You won't have an issue and won't even need to keep a charger on it while your on the rig for months.
