Looking for a manual adjuster hardware kit for a big Ford Torino style backing plate with 11"x 2.25" shoes. Anyone still offer this kit?

Probably check Rock Auto, 11" would probably
be LTD, or Galaxie, early 70's, their website has pictures of all the brake hardware.

Don`t know if anybody sells them anymore, but my 1959 Ford sedan has factory 11" brakes with manual adjusters. Unlike the later self adjusting setup, the adjusting star wheel has much coarser teeth, and a lower spring that connects the primary and secondary shoes, and this spring is routed on top of the adjuster, so the spring actually prevents the star wheel from moving without deliberate pressure of an adjusting tool during brake adjustment. That said, what I did on the rear adjusters on my 85 Mustang was to remove approx1/2" of material from the female side of the adjuster, which provided enough room to install a jam nut which locks the adjuster in place.
