Re: SS/K Stick Shift Shootout Class Nationals May 2014
My brand new engine suffered a failure on the dyno Saturday. I had the cylinder heads updated and part of the deck on #4 just came apart. Luckily the bottom end was not damaged. The guys at Trumble Racing Engines gave it a great try sunday and today trying to weld it up but it didn't happen. So right now the class nationals don't look good. I guess some things aren't meant to be.

C'mon, Ed you've got to bring your car,, somebody please bring a set of heads for him.
A lot of work has gone into this shootout, not to mention the family setback suffered by Ed. He deserves to be in his own race within a race. Any help out there? I hope so. Danny Durham |

I'm hearing Ed got a new bullet together,,, that's great news. I'm really looking forward to the shootout and I plan to put my camcorder to use. I'm hoping Rob will be there shooting also.

Congrats to both finalist as those were some high winding small blocks.
Any word on how many cars showed for round one of the shoot-out.
