On a side note. I pray that things go well for your dad in the near future. There have been great strides made in the cure for cancers in recent years. There is a real good chance your dad can beat this. In any event spend as much time with him as possible. I lost my dad a few years back and miss him horribly. He was a great man.

Best wishes

Great idea Mike, I'm in on that. Rolling from Texas is quite a trip. Now we just need someone to handle the details.

Well I thought I would post since this was back on page 7. I just completed 13 more letters I will be sending out this week looking for more support for the SS/k Shootout. Although my participation is uncertain at this point I will continue to work on gaining support for this Shootout and hope to have as many as 15 competitors for the race. I am going to do all that I can to be there especially if my dad can attend. I will post again when and if I hear back from my latest round of letters. Again thanks to everyone who has supported this race. It is greatly appreciated by myself and all the racers involved. Ed

This class is way cool and count me in for 100.00 to the winner and 50.00 to the R/U of the shootout!

Mike...let me know when you would like to have the money.

I'm going to dedicate my participation in the SS/K Shootout to my youngest brother Scott who passed away on 12-26-13. Words can't describe the feeling of loss my family and I have right now. I hope I can make him proud in May. RIP little brother.

I'll pledge $100 for top speed of the runoff. I figure low qualifier already had a little boost. Someone in charge tell me where to send the check, and will get it on it's way. Also, Sorry Ed. Truly.
