Re: Warren J and his kid--Out of racing?
I believe "The Professor" is about 70 years old this year and he is probably hard at work at home in the shop and testing secretly somewhere. I would not be surprised if Warren and Kurt return with more horsepower and new Corporate Sponsorship. In the past although humble he also was never afraid to "tell it like it is", with NHRA - Pro Stock treatment, track prep and so on. What I miss, is watching Pro Stock qualifying and watching him move into No# 1 spot by several hundredths. When they announced "Warren Johnson…your number one qualifier" it gave me goosebumps every time, a lot more exciting when him and Kurt were participating. The field was generally set by his benchmark. MB.

According to his Facebook page, they are still hard at work on the dyno and testing...

There was an interview in ND earlier this year with kurt, he's supposed to be out at some point this year.

I know they are looking at Atlanta. We all know it's pretty pointless to show up, and not get in, because of the costs today. They both want to Qualify and qualify well. When they feel like it's there, they will.

Re: Warren J and his kid--Out of racing?
Probably about time for Warren to put a young gun in the drivers seat. If I were him I would put Brad Zaskowski behind the wheel. I don't think there is more talented manual shift driver out there today. He is also very good at tuning and the clutch. I have raced brad many times. He is ways on time and on the dial. I am a
Big fan of the Johnson's. Hope they get back to running good some day
