4 wide nationals
Just watched the 4 wides i had recorded and noticed several empty seats in the stands. Maybe some high brass out west should take note.

Re: 4 wide nationals
The Saturday and Sunday attendance was the best I have seen at the event - probably aided by the best weather forecasts I have ever seen for the event.
Those stands are huge, and so are the suites above them and the suites in the tower. You can put a lot of people in there and still have bare aluminum showing on the TV broadcast. |

And remember you were watching the Sportsman races. Lots of people drift into the pits to ogle Ashley, Haggan and some of those bike dudes when Stock and Super stock are called to the staging lanes. The people in the stands were the real race fans. Same thing happened last year at the NorthWest Nationals at Pacific Raceway in Kent.
And, no, I didn't mention Pro stock, did I? I'd rather watch a rust bucket Mustang smoke up the water box than a carbon fiber "Camaro" do a burn out. Dale

Re: 4 wide nationals
I was in the Burton suite Friday through Sunday. The pitt side was about 80% full, the spec. side only several hundred people but guess what? Still more than last Oct. in Charlotte for two wide.
