'62 Plymouth Savoy fleet special station wagon
Saw this car in my travels and had to stop for a further look. Slant six, manual transmission, bone stock, no option car except for a working power rear window. 9 passenger. Solid body. No rust or dents except rear floor (holes) needs work. Original Air Force car, then Univ of Nebraska Forestery Service car. Forestry emblems still on doors. Looks untouched under the hood. Firewall are rad support still nice Air Force blue. Outside paint terrible, but no rust or dents. Caught my attention as you just don't see virgin cars like this any more. I figure someone out there would appreciate it (Jerry Bennett). Car located in Walhalla, SC. I took pictures but don't know how to download them on this site. Send me an email address and I'll send them to you. Seller is asking $3,950. I'm sure he will deal on the price. His tel. # (864) 710-2887. Sure would be neat painted back Air Force blue with white stripes on the roof. And with a 413 or a 383. My wife says I see everything through rose colored glasses. Maybe.
