I use the crower bushed lifters .best thing I ever did. This is in a 10 k rpm eng. No power loss. Went 3 seasons on the lifters. And I am just going to replace them out of guilt. No more fear of broken needles wrecking everything.

Mark,

What kind of spring pressure are you running? Also, any brass in the filter from the lifter bushings?

Thanks,

Steve

I have seen alot of sizing issues with those lifters I have had to buy 2 if not 3 sets to make up one set because of sizing issues.

So make sure you measure every lifter.

I also have been using the Crower bushed lifters - can't squawk about them at all, but I only rev it to 8,000

This thread I started was about Crower .903 lifters 3 sets that could not be used.

Crower 842. lifters run right at .841 to small for any GM lifter bore that is .844 which gives you .003 clearance which is to much.

Here it a good video to look over.

I deal with a lot of blocks and check and machine alot of lifters and lifters bores when I machine blocks and have seen about every lifter out there.
