Default Lucas FL-0

Anybody in Stock Eliminator using the new Lucas FL-0 engine oil? How do u like it?

You need to have the right engine clearances to run the oil. Would not recommend it for an engine that needs to be driven from the pits to the staging lanes all the time. Just because it is used in Pro Stock, it does not mean it will be the best choice for a Sportsman class engine.

Since you probably can’t get close enough to watch them change oil in a PS car I’d recommend watch some Comp car maintenance. One look at this stuff being poured in a motor is likely to make you say “never mind” (boy, I miss Gilda Radner).

wasnt worried about pro stock just looking for go fast oil for a heads up....

Many many years ago when Warren Johnson was promoting Synergyn, I got a 5 gal pail of 00000 wt....thinner than water. My crank guy saw it, and said don't use that if you want me to do your cranks. It was fast for one run if you have the guts, then take out. We saw the saw same ET reduction by taking 1-2 qts out for one run. Russian roulette. Still have the 00000 somewhere
