Default BBC Flexplate.balance

Hi Guys , I have just finished a new engine , rotating assembly was balanced in the US and engine assembled in Australia. Flexplate says it is for an external balance engine, can I neutral balance the flexplate.and then fit it to the engine?. Or do I have to buy another flexplate?.
Thanks Squirrell.

Well if the rotating assembly was internally balanced you might get away with just removing the balance weight from the flex plate. Call the guys who balanced it.
However if your required to have an SFI flex plate at least in the US you cannot modify it, as to do so would render it illegal
Probably best to buy the correct flex plate.
