Default BBC Dry Sump

Hi Guys, I need to change a wet sump engine to a dry sump engine. I am wondering what happens to the oil pump. I take it out but what happens with the bolt holes etc from the pump. Race car is fitted with a dry sump and the new engine is wet sump . I can see all the fittings on the out side of the dry sump but I am not sure what is under the sump.
Thanks for your help, Squirrell.

If I understand your question you want to convert a wet sump engine to a dry sump configuration.
You'll need to remove wet sump oil pan the stock type oil pump and replace it with a block off plate on the rear main cap.
Then install and plumb the dry sump pan , pump , pump drive and tank.
