Default Gmc

Hello,

I am thinking of converting My 97 GMC Sonoma to a stock eliminator truck. Was just wondering what class it Would be in. It will be a 4.3l v6 with an Automatic trans. Will it be competitive? Just kicking it around because I see alot of dodges run in the class, but not alot of gms or fords. The engines are tough, they are roller. Thanks for the input in advanced.

I don't see your truck in the guide.

Could be, I'm not sure exactly how similar they are.

I would think you could claim it as a 96. All Blazers were pretty much the same from 1995 thru 2004 when I think production ended.

You will have to claim your truck as a 96 S-10. It is rated 187 hp as stick. 188 hp as auto. Home class O truck go to N or P. They can be fast. We've had two of these trucks and have run stick and auto.

Do you care to share any details about the combination? Which did you prefer, stick or auto? Thanks for the reply!
