Default rec port intake on oval head

Im thinking about trying a brodix dual plane rec port intake,in place of oval port rpm air gap, anybody been down this road before? The combo is a 460 hyd cam, closed chamber oval heads,no port work ,flat top.

Less low to mid range and more higher rpm power...Lookin for ways to go faster ...also we got a no port rule in the class ...thought the rec port might be better as cast...

Then why not a single plane oval port?

I have heard of people doing this and they claim to make power beyond that of the oval/oval combo. I have yet to see any back to back results; but Speedtalk has several threads on the subject. If your combo is as mild as it sounds I don't know how much you would gain.

You'll find that most modern dual planes of the same pattern are relatively equal. I'd say there's considerably more power to be found elsewhere.
