Now I know I found my problem!!!!!!
The stator support on the front pump was spinning It should be stationary. Causing complete lack of torque multiplication. So it was locking up at 1500 or so.
Now I'll make Reynolds All in all I found a few other problems and learned how to tune and program the ECU properly.

The last month wasn't wasted I now have a bunch of working (tested) spare parts. And I mastered how to work with the ECU. That magical box of fortunes and horrors. And install one from out of the box. And get it to do everything the other one did. The company was nice enough to let me keep it for all my troubles.

Artie, So the stator support was a press in deal?
What are you going to do to prevent that from happening again?

Re: Now I know I found my problem!!!!!!
I'm not sure if it is a press in. Or if it sheared. I haven't taken the pump apart. I will next week. Right now I'm trying to get the car back together to get to a track tomorrow or Sunday.

Re: Now I know I found my problem!!!!!!
Thanks Dave. The problem has been solved. After a couple of tune-up runs. I went -96.5.
And thats with a head with stock size valves, and a cam that would be legal in a stocker. I'm not going to throw the good pieces on it till next year. The car is leaving good again my short times were 1.76 to 1.78 But the motor won't breathe right only going 103 mph. But I'm pleased with the footbrake leaving. I won't break as many parts. I screwed up a bearing on my differential carrier and had a new one put on. I thought the clearances would be the same. And in a rush to get it to the track yesterday I didn't check it. Well after a few runs I was going up for another run and shut it off to coast to the head of the lanes. There was a terrible sound coming from the differential. So I went back to the trailer and home. I pulled the cover and there's .060 to much clearance. Didn't do any harm thank God. But if I had the transbrake in it, it would have broken the unit for sure.
