Smile Aluminum radiator

Has any one had success getting an aluminum rad that
fits a 78/79 Camaro with minimum fabrication.
If so, what one was used?

If you are talking about stock eliminator, I hat walked into Advance auto parts and ordered a replacement radiator for my car. One day later direct replacement aluminum radiator for the outstanding price of under $125.00. Five pounds lighter, cools the car just fine and fit perfectly!

Thanks for the input.
I ended up ordering a direct replacement.
$250.00 CAD. Probably about $1.95 US.

I run a 1981 camaro, I used the same radiator that Painter used ,works great, also remember you can't modify the radiator support in to fit radiator. So direct fit is best way to go.

Spectre brand of rads is popular in your area.
