Re: 82 Firebird brakes
Lamb or Mark Williams if money is not a big factor....Strange if your on a budget. I would not even look at anything other than those three.

Re: 82 Firebird brakes
Check with Corkey. They have Wilwood and Aerospace. The Aerospace work excellent on my car and the price is good

Re: 82 Firebird brakes
I have had Aerospace on my car for five years now. Good price, light weight, don't drag, stop great. Not sure what another brand could do better.

Re: 82 Firebird brakes
I never like to go against my boy Ed Wright, but I have had Aerospace and they were absolutely, positively junk! My dad had Strange on his car and they were not any better.
I would not have a race car without Mark Williams or Lamb brakes. PERIOD!!! |

Re: 82 Firebird brakes
I have had Aerospace brakes all the way around on my stocker since they became legal. I have raced enough that I have had to replace the pads once. When I ordered them I asked about fluid and followed their recommendation. I have also flushed and bleed regularly. We spend big money on oil, trans fluid, race gas and other fluids but expect aftermarket brakes to perform with cheap brake fluid. I would not hesitate to put Aerospce brakes on anything.
