Electric Throttle Stop
Electric throttle stop for 4150 series carb, Dedenbear-style with a few differences. This was one of a batch made by Ted Kellner back in the 1980's. I ran it for 4.5 seasons in the late 80's and early 90's, then it sat in a box for 16 years. I started out using it when I rebuilt the car this year, but found that I needed a stop with primary and secondary butterflies to slow down a low-9 second car to 9.90's while just using a switch on the shifter to activate the stop. If you are running a timer, this would probably work to slow down a 8.90 car to 9.90. Another nice thing about this stop is the open, free-flowing design. It barely slowed down the car when wide open, compared to a Dedenbear unit which was more restrictive. $175 obo. Call Michael at 503-407-1388.
