Default Thanks Mark Yacavone

Mark, just wanted to say "Thank you" again for putting on the Stock/Super Stock combo race. It's great we have people like you supporting the classes. Even though the race didn't turn out like any of us had hoped it was still a great time! Can't wait for the next one!

Thanks for putting these on Mark, I know I haven't been much for car support, hopefully that will change by the end of the year.

Dick M., Kip, Wes, Bob E., Andy Durham, Tibor and my dad and I. They ended up canceling the race and refunded everyones money because during eliminations the tree wasn't staggered so everyone was leaving together just as if it were qualifying.

Thank you Kayla, and to all who made it out there, under somewhat threatening conditions.
Firebird got rained out, I was told. We never had a drop.

Yes, we had a problem with the computer not being in eliminations mode. Between the small field, the red lights, and the broke byes, we weren't really sure what was going on until we ran the second round.
The track owner said it would be their policy to rerun the whole thing from the beginning.
Some of the racers weren't too keen on that idea at 2 o'clock in the morning.

I decided to take a vote for refunding everyone's money and folding up and the majority won out ,so that's what I did.

I know exactly what the problem was and I guarantee it won't ever happen again. It's just one more thing I'll have to check personally, and I will add it to my list.
Again, thanks to everyone and also to Don Kennedy for running the whole S/SS deal for me. (I hope I can mention his name on this forum ;-)

See you on November 14th

MY

"Mark we would love to bring our car up there but we keep having conflicting events when you have them .. We actually hope not to be at your next one either because that mean one of us won the ROC up in Sacramento and will be heading to Pomona for the world championship! but we will see when the time comes around!

Brad "

Good trick ,replying before you wrote it ,huh?

Brad ,We have other conflicts right here in the valley too. I have to consider how they would affect all our categories. The S/SS combo at our events is just there because I want it to be. It has never been a big money maker for me either.
The guys always put on a great show though, and I get quite a few positive compliments about it.
The week after our event is Goodguys show and Pinks @ Firebird. We can't go up against either of them. What we had to settle on is the same weekend as the Nascar event and The World Finals. Last year,we picked up a few racer retuning from Pomona on Sunday.

Tibor couldn't make our Fall 2009 Event either , but I excused him .Look how well it turned out too.

Good luck!
