My opinion probably doesn't count for much, so take it for what it's worth. I haven't run any IHRA races yet, but from what I understand they have not failed to pay the advertised purse in full inspite of low car counts at most races here in Div. 2. Also, they had no entry fee increases for 2011.

I also under stand these exibition shows and "pro shows" are run after the sportman schedules are finished for the day. I say "throw the tent up and bring on the circus if that gets the bills paid"!!! The other sanctioning body seems to have a different approach.

John, I sence the sarcaism in your post so I'm not knocking it. I hope everyone else does too.

One of them is in Monster Truck class and one is in just Monster class and the other one is Jet Truck class.

There was no sportsman racing at Pittsburgh-From TS/TD down to stock. only their regular bracket program on Sat and a box/no box race on Fri night.

I looked up in the guide it fits C/MA {C/ monster automatic} if they don't use flame thrower can move down to I/MA.
The monster combos are hard to beat because they keep picking up other car and throwing them off track,if I get paired with one I'll probaly load up,until they refactor them so they can't use flamethrower and are'nt allowed to pick up the other car.
I heard they were banned from the JDRL {Japan drag racing league}.LOL

Larry Carrier almost always had some kind of extra show, whether it was the Speedo the clown enertaining during and oildown or wheelstanders,jetcars, Big Daddy making exhibition runs in Swamp Rat1.
