Default Reminder for those heading to Houston

I always wondered if they enforced this toll road.

Last year, I got a bill from my rental car company for $60 for tolls and administrative fees for 4 toll violations that were within the posted times. I called the Texas Toll Road Authority and they said they had no record of any agreement with Houston Raceway Park or Royal Purple Raceway.

I called the track and spoke with Seth Angel and he said they were working on getting it cleared up. Never heard back from him and wouldn't respond to any messages either.

Almost everyone I talked to got dinged the same way, so buyer beware.

Dave, Take some of that Houston mud and cover your plates, hard for them to send you a ticket if they can`t read your plate. Tom

I've evidently been lucky. Never heard a thing. Maybe they can't read my trailer tag? I understood there was an agreement with the track. Only on it for a mile or so from I10, right?

I got a call in January 2014 stating I owed them money for the 1 mile trip from the track back to IH10, told them that NHRA had said it was free. Got nowhere, just paid the fee.

I guess you can add that to the "Biggest Lie List" right after #4, "I'll pay you Friday"!!

Never again
