Default Mopar ss spring repop

Mopar just lists their SS springs by weight of vehicle. Any idea what the spring rates are to remake them. For the F and M bodies you can't use them in stock since the front leaf is shorter. NHRA does not like the extensions of the front hanger. I can get a set made for $350-$500. Cheaper than CalTrac. I'm looking at 300-350HP in a 3400lbs car. I was thinking about beefing up the stock springs but they have this strange blocky oval front bushing and at that point I'm heading in the same price range when everything is done.

Buy the Calvert Bars or have Tri City build you a set of Super Launchers.
Either are much better than anything you can have made. Both
these Gentleman have done drag racing suspensions forever!
I have a set of super launchers off Aspen / Volare if ....you could find some
one could haul them to where you are from any of the west coast races.
$200. would take them and they are correct 24" front segment. ( New are
$750.00 if I recall ).

Have to agree with John. The Calverts are the way to go. For the money they are the best bang for the buck! Jim

That would almost seem right. My '66 Hemi Coronet Sedan had factory leafs with a few extra leaves added in the middle. It didn't even budge when you pushed down on the car. They're in the attic now, haha.
