Re: "Live From" NHRA - Sony/PCRichard Pennsylvania Dutch Cla
During all the Dutch Classics I've attending since 2003, all the fans and spectators are seated on the pit side of the track and the opposite side
(what you're seeing in the pictures Ken took) is closed. I've tried to go over there to shoot pics myself only to be told they aren't open. |

There was a decent number of people in the pit-side stands.

Re: "Live From" NHRA - Sony/PCRichard Pennsylvania Dutch Cla
Hey folks, sorry for the lack of reports but I had to leave last night. I do have some Hemi shoot out info. David Barton driving Gary Wolkwitz 68 Dart beat Steve Comella in the final this morning. David went a 8.360@157.96 to Steve's 8.608@154.35
Eliminations were to begin at 9 and the weather is great so there should be no reason they have not been well under way. I'm still trying to get a complete list of records so be patient but this is a partial list. Dave Thomas FSS/E 9.13 FSS/F 9.14 John Kakalecik SS/DA 9.07 SS/CA 8.89 Mike Ficacci D/S 10.37 George Yago FS/G 9.67 David Barton FS/B 8.54 Jim Kunsak FS/D 9.40 Wayne Totaro B/S 10.12 . . .
