OK...we may have a deal, from Arizona I will trade you (2) Mayors + (1) Police Chief (we sent the other one to San Francisco), an ex Governor who now is a fry cook, a Pro Hockey team, a Pro Baseball team, a Pro Football team and a 9 passenger Ford van that will haul 32 of those illegals.

OLD INJUN and hadtobethere:

My 'Dave Dedrick Signature Edition' outside thermometer/barometer/manometer/anemometer/potentiometer indicates a crisp 37 degrees here in Sioux Falls this morning. I know that's correct because it's a rare version of the unit, also signed by 'The Hippy Dippy Weatherman', George Carlin.

Extensive record keeping shows that when morning temps hit the 30's, our local population of.....errrr.....'rolling stones'.....shall we say.....start their annual migration Southward. 'Valley of the Sun or Bust' is an oft seen sign scrawled in white shoe polish on the windows of 12 passenger Ford Econolines (though you can get 18 in there, easy), clapped out Chrysler/Dodge/Plymouth mini vans and the occasional Caprice station wagon.

There was some local discussion about furnishing the addresses and phone numbers of relocated Sioux Falls-ians to these road warriors. You know, a place they could go for a hot cup of coffee, a cinnamon roll...perhaps a ham sandwich. A kind and gentle rest stop along the way, dontcha' know?

But repercussions and pay-backs being what they are, that motion was quickly tabled.

As Red Green says: "Keep your stick on the ice, boys. We're all in this together."

Laffin' in The Forbidden Zone..........
