Re: ball joint part number for 67 Firebird
[QUOTE=Kegracing;447183]J&S, what application did you put this in? That is not showing the right number for the 67-69 F body... did it fit with no modificatio?
69 camaro..... tops bolted in NO modification bottoms pressed in NO modification!!!! Also there bushings kit needed NO modification. I also went with the bump steer kit from speed teck witch is adjustable for ride hight to dampen the hard landings. I would call jegs, they have the master Afco catalog. |

Re: ball joint part number for 67 Firebird
I would try Howe ask about the #22303 ball joint and the #22385 is the 1/2 inch longer version & 22389A is 1 inch longer version of the 22303---they can probably make you whatever you want gonna be a little pricey tho--- or try Proforged ask them they made a special run of them its a #K5108.5 I believe not sure if they are low friction but they definately were 1/2 inch longer----- you can also try to modify your upper control arm to fit the Gen11 Fbody/Gbody vehicle ball joint I think you will have to ream out the hole where the joint goes thru will solve it--- and since those are readily available and pretty cheap might be the easiest way to go--FED 387
