2.75 first gear
how much would it change the converter be hind a 350 CI motor that make 400hp?? this is in a 3200lb car that now has a 2.48 first gear.

What is your question? Stall speed? Maybe 200RPM or less I guess.

It may not change anything as far as flash stall speed goes.

I know this is apples to oranges but when I went from a 1.82 low gear to a 2.08 in my powerglide the "stall" changed none.

Very little is correct.
I'd worry more about the 400 Turbo if you want to go fast with a SBC.
