Chevy Colorado truck in GT ?
I may be overlooking it but I do not see the Colorado truck listed. Do we know of anyone running a Colorado in SS GT?

Re: Chevy Colorado truck in GT ?
I have never seen or heard of one running. They would make a sweet looking SSer. However, if it is not in the classification guide it cannot be run. I am sure it could be added, but you would have to talk to the right person at Chevrolet and get them to send in specifications.

Re: Chevy Colorado truck in GT ?
I think in the rulebook it has a couple lines about, racing a V8 in a car. I believe that it originally had to have at least a 6 cylinder to be considered for V8 conversion and the Canyon and Colorado only had 4 or 5. I've thought that the Colorado would be sweet, also.

You could order them with a V8 do not know what year that started. Tom

Re: Chevy Colorado truck in GT ?
i.m not sure if it even matters , but I think the 5.3 v-8 was in 4dr. 4wd. models only. a Colorado would be cool looking. but I think it would be at an aero disadvantage against the s10. the Colorado has a bit more frontal area, and the s-10's are much smaller than most realize

Re: Chevy Colorado truck in GT ?
Mark,
I think you are correct. In addition. the S-10 is 108 wheel base were the Colorado is 111
