How far under will they go...
Ok boys and girls.. For the 62nd Annual US Nationals.. NHRA has pulled the HP hit that STK and SSTK will get.. So it means that people should hopefully let it rip.. Our little contest is, Guess what the number will be for STK and SSTK. The closest to it wins a custom carb cover from Steve Broadbent at SIDS SHEET METAL. Also in the event of a tie.. We are going to do a coin flip on FB LIVE VIDEO.. So pick heads or tales along with what you think the magic number will be...
Thanks and good luck. Post your pic on the thread on our FB page. www.facebook.com/wheelzupradio |

Re: How far under will they go...
Without the HP factor....someone will go 2 seconds under......did I just say that??? It will be a lower class car.. (has to be) probably a U/S type car.

Re: How far under will they go...
There was an N/SA that ran in the 11.30's last year at the Indy fall event.
I'd say the same car in P/SA will run 11.80's this year in the heat

Re: How far under will they go...
I think bump spot would be a better contest (.822 under Stock and .803 under SS)
I'd hate to throw out a guess if there is a new COPO Camaro coming out Tuesday rated at 310hp with an 18 to 1 compression, dual Dominator, inch lift 572. No doubt an already well-tested example would be running 3 seconds under. |
