RIP Tracy Winters
I met the Winters family decades ago at JW in Rockledge, FL. There was a small office up front and a relatively small shop area in the back. Big John and Helen were the main players back then. Tracy and Little John were school children, but the supporting cast in a real life serial of a dedicated family moving a small business forward to success.
Norman Rockwell could have set up his easel, canvas and paints right there at JW to capture yet another slice of an American family story and it would have ranked right up there with his best work. Losing Tracy is a devastating blow to the Winters family and to many folks who by chance came to interact with her. I never met anyone like her before and probably never will again. Tracy was unique in her graciousness, smile and demeanor while remaining ever focused on the best interest of JW Performance and her family. I wish I could see her just one more time to tell her how impressed I was with her and the way she conducted herself in all circumstances. I hope everyone will join me in absorbing just a little of the pain that is now resting with the Winters family. I know they will appreciate hearing from you. |
