Or "in 10 years from now" the nukes could fly, the aliens could take over or the zombies could get us.

What I believe is that it's something that I don't have any control over so I'm not gonna worry about it. When the NHRA asks/tells me not to come back, I'll spend my time and money at my local tracks.

Keynes once said: "In the long run, we're all dead."

I'm with Bill here, instead of all the doom and gloom, why not focus on how we can continue to enjoy the sport and class we love and work everyday to make it better? If NHRA isn't listening, we'll just yell louder.

and "in the long run", all S/SS Racers need to know how to teardown their cars. It's part of the game that we play. ;-)

NHRA's new engine classes are a bit much, right? Building my 2014 Challenger on a budget is a ride. Not sure about NHRA's V6 move at 305, though.

Fair enough, I'll get there one day. All I need is a little help from a great group of people (which I'm told this group is) and I'll have the confidence to recall all of my inhibitions.

The first time I ever saw the delay stuff was the Seattle NW Nats. I recall a red 57 CHev, Harding I think the guys name. Pretty much a ProMod car and running in Super Gas (may have even been Super Street) It moved off the line and rolled slowly for a couple seconds then ran 9.90 at around 200. That was interesting because it was crazy but once everyone did that it is just annoying. I hope that never happens in Stock where the 632 Copo fits K/SA and runs a 4 second 60 foot time and 11.40 at 179 and becomes the norm.
