Alan Claunch was the racer involved. I spoke with Alan Monday and he is doing well! Bruised up and a few other injuries but considering what he went through he is in great shape. I was amazed to see how good the car still looked as well. After barrel rolling multiple times I expected it to be Un recognizable. He was very thankful of the safety equipment and the car itself being well built.

Maybe Jerry thought it would get more attention in the .90 section.....although he could have added that he was happy to hear the driver was ok.....???

"This isn't the S/G forum."

Concern for fellow drag racers is not limited by class JHeath. This is an adult forum.

Anybody know how he wrecked? I heard the anouncer telling the Stockers wrecking due to excessive wheel stands. I never heard why the SG car wrecked.

Alan has asked if anyone had photos or videos to please get him a copy to help determine what happened. One preliminary report was that a front strut broke, so it will be interesting to find out more.
