Billy,Nees, You are correct. One wt break, heads up but I do not like the fiberglass parts comments. Just another comp car, Pro Stock or Top Sportsman car.
As for any Turbo or Supercharger in a Stock or SS class they only are for one thing.... To confuse the factoring methods even more. Carbs versus Injection is bad enough and very successful confusion of factors...

Yes to the idea of replacing Current Pro Stocks with factory appearing Factory Stock cars.

If you're going to try it, naturally aspirated, two valves per cylinder, cam in block, 440 cubic inch maximum, 400 cubic inch minimum, maximum of two 1000 CFM approved throttle bodies, flat top pistons, maximum 5 forward speeds, back half only, 16"x33" slick, fiberglass hood, with a 6" scoop, 3200# with driver, although 3000#, or even 2800# with driver would be better, if you can get there.

I don't think they'll be fast enough to please the crowds, I don't think NHRA will like it, and I think the whole thing will be out of control in two years or less.

Right Alan, and The Big 3 engine options will all look strangely alike, and it will be boring, for that reason..Sort of like Nascar.

Will Dodge finance them for 5 years and what kind of warranty do you get?

You know, an innovative person can finance these if you are a little creative. I am a car dealer first and a banker second. I have helped a couple of people finance these things. The key is they are identifiable by serial # even they have no title. Banks do it daily, use a UCC filing to record your interest in anything identifiable. In many states boats don't have titles, but have serial numbers. Now if you got a beacon score that won't stand a look, your local banker might not help. There is no national across the board program, but your local guy with everything else ok should be able to do it. Kevin and I were in Detroit for the last three days. Impressive cars, fast, going through tests now, Kevin drove one of them. They will both be in Denver. More as it unfolds. Lot of details available, but not here.

I think if you can't afford to buy it outright, you may be better off with something less. $100 K isn't that much money anymore.
