Default Clarification Needed - Pro Invitation Race in Florida

I understand that this race for stock and super stock is a 32 car field each, no qualifying sheet, chip draw and no possibilty for a heads up. Any accurate information out there to verify or refute this? Seems to be a high dollar bracket race which causes me to wonder why stock and super stock.

So you’d rather race for $1000 with all the “class” parameters??? I’d race backwards for 30K!

Before the rest of you jump on this, the question was neutral. I wasn't asking what you would or would not do, i was asking if all the rumors I heard were valid and could anyone verify or refute.

I’ve heard that what you mentioned is the way the race will be. Of course nothing is official until the details are released.

Oh bummer, If that is truly the case Byron, its a real step down from Bohannan's races. He has killer Class races with big payouts. What's being describing is bracket race with class cars. One thing that is unique, I don't remember seeing invitation only bracket races. Certainly not up to the hype... but let's see what happens,

I say let them get the race run for this year in the format they plan to run it. I hope it's real successful. And they will want to do more. Any tweaking can get done at the next one. Like to see whoever is in charge of promoting this race start to really get doing it publicly. It will be here before we know it. And I'm sure there are other sponsors that would love to get involved if they have enough time too and notice to whom to get in touch with. Can't wait to see the list of the sportsman drivers. Surprised it's not out.
That had to be a tough job to come up with the criteria to include what drivers that will be invited. I'd like to sign up now for the live feed but want to make sure they do a good job on the sportsman side of the show. In my opinion a race like this has been long overdue. It's nice to show other Sanctioning bodies they too could give a big burst of money to the Pros and the Sportsman categories If you can have million-dollar bracket shows, for several years I have to ask how come this took so long. A big thank you to all that have lead the way, and to any Sponsor for getting involved. BP

Please, PLEASE don't jump all over me...it's " invite only" correct?
Which means what, they don't have to pay for their spot in the field?
Will there be an entry fee?
What will it be?
Haven't seen this mentioned.
Thanks, Dan

Maybe you should consider selling all that high dollar drivetrain and come do some big money brackets. You’d likely be just as successful in that arena. Them big Wally’s are nice to look at, but why not get you some big checks that you can actually do something with?

If indeed they are looking for pure drivers, and not considering how far under a driver's car can run, that may be why there won't be any heads up.

That's not Stock/Superstock. It's bracket racing. Why race Stock/Superstock cars then? Asking for a friend.
