Mike DeGeorgio Vette back in the day?

So a distant relative of my family, Mike DeGeorgio, passed away a few weeks ago. I come to find out he used to drag race. No one in my family who was close to him really understands our classes, but from what they are saying it sounds like it was a performance based /indexed based class as they said he won regularly because his car was fast, and other racers were terrified of his car.
All I know is that it was a vette, and he lived in Tom’s River New Jersey. So I’m gonna assume englishtown and atco would have been his stomping grounds.

Anyone know of him or the car?
