Re: David Layer
Just a short update on Dave. He is a fighter as we all know but the battle he faces is immense. There is no change since last week. His condition remains the same so PLEASE keep Dave, Dede, Lindsey and the Family in your thoughts and prayers. As mentioned before I or the family will post any new updates as they develop. Thanks for cooperating on not contacting the shop for daily updates.

Re: David Layer
Stay tough Dave. Last November my dad (71) was diagnosed with a golf ball size tumor in the center of his brain. They also found cancer in his left lung(small cell carcinoma). He had brain surgery first then radiation and finally 20 chemotherapy treatments. I saw all of it. He went to hell and back. I talked to him this afternoon and he is doing well. He was positive during the whole thing and had lots of support. So I've seen first hand what can be done. Stay strong....... Ed

Re: David Layer
So sorry to hear this about a great person. I don't race stock or super stock but I was very fortunate to be introduced to Dave by a co worker who used to be Dave's neighbor at one time Dave fixed a set of heads for me and a friend was made. I used to stop by the shop just to say hello and to listen to his stories. When I built my house it wasn't on my way home to stop by It had been at least 2 years since I had stopped by I saw him at Kilkare last year and I went up to him and I said you probably don't remember me and he said give me a minute and then he said Mike. Dave you and your family are in my prayers.

Re: David Layer
Joe,
That video is awesome. Thought and prayers to Dave and his family. I hope he starts to turn the corner real soon. He certainly has an uphill battle in front of him. I lost my dad a few years back due to complications from a major stroke. Very difficult time for my family. Best wishes. Mike.
