Default LIVE from Indy - D3 LODRS

Somebody has to get the report started, so let's get this going. Rolled in just before 11am to no lines. Parking must have started early. It's still pretty wet here. Those that are parked have picked the asphalt or high ground. The crew is working on the track and we'll need some sun to help dry up the water on the pit roads.

Weather is the big unknown this weekend as MJ reported earlier. Right now Saturday and Sunday look challenging.

Time to unload and head to Tech.

Note the discrete "For Sale" on Steve Novosels COPO. This car is fast.

David Garrity's beautiful M/SA Buick Apollo

Weather is beautiful now. Test and tune to start soon.

T & T resumed after 30 minutes of downtime. Big puffy clouds overhead with an occasional bark one. Pretty strong wind out of the west. It's a nice day here ............

Veteran D3 Stock racer Bill Kissinger is back with his M/SA Olds. It's good to see him.

Bob Reynolds bought Carl Holbrooks "Instant Action". CJ Mustang in 1974. Bob is from Billings Montana. Fellow CJ racer Gene McBean is helping Bob.

T & T picked up pace into the afternoon with a number of Top Dragster, Top Sportsman and alcohol cats making runs. All was going well till an Alcohol Dragster hit the wall about 6. Racing resumed about 7:30.

Good morning. It's a beautiful morning to start Friday Qualifying. Lots of racers came in last nite and the pits are filling up. Stock out first at 9. Weather is still the issue for the weekend with Saturday looking wet all day. Sunday much better. Stay tuned for more. I gotta warm up the car.
