Default Wheelspin or transbrake problem ?

Reaction times are in the teen`s - high twenties most of the time , especially when I am practicing a lot in car at home , Question is how can go from .012 ,.146 .055, .148 during a test n tune day with new slicks ? at first I thought it was some wheelspin , but how could the 60` times be within .011 from best to worst , This has been going on before and after car was re wired and its driving me nuts already , I hear the transbrake coming on and off , but the measurement in time is so small you would never know if it`s slacking , heard they just go bad and don`t work ? Have had this brake for years and trans has always been freshened , Thanks for the Help .

Tires are not slipping on the rims are they? Mark the tires at the valve stems and see if the marks move. I had that problem.

Sticky button or sticky valve that the trans brake solenoid activates?

Button is good has been tested on a practice tree , solenoid maybe , what is this valve that you mean ? Is this part of the valvebody itself ? Thanks

If the trans has been out lately and you have an external transbrake solenoid it is very easy to bump it on the way in or out causing the plunger to bind slightly causing inconsistent releases. Also, a bur or foreign material on the internal valve that the transbrake releases on launch can cause these problems. I bumped so many solenoids in the past that I now remove the thing and plug the hole before removing a trans with external solenoid.
Just a suggestion. Most likely, as stated, the trans is slipping and new tires may have made it more noticeable.

Pressure regulator springs are often an overlooked source of consistency problems , especially on a fluid exhaust type of brake .
Brake valve release time is dependent on proper & consistent line pressure .
A low pressure problem will be even worse as fluid temp increases.

What trans is it?

No way trans is slipping if 60s are within .011. Could it?

If possible,I would have somebody else drive the car and see what lights they get.Practicing a lot in car at home and actually being on a race track can be two different things.Try to eliminate the driver from the equation.
