Default Edelbrock???

I see Edelbrock discontinued the NHRA legal cylinder heads... I was considering buying a set of 61607s.... Whats going on with this company?? Most products out of stock and others discontinued??? What are they turning Edelbrock into RHS with a few basic china made SBC head and manifold options??? I dont understand the new direction? It seems they are out of touch with the real racer and trying to only offer a few economy street options... idk I could be overeacting.

Private equity, buy out. Harvard business school, its all about the cash flow......
Dart's another example and many others.
Accounting/ finance people are in charge, not the racers that built the businesses like Maskins and Edelbrock.
These guys may have not had MBA's but they build very successful companies.

This was my #1 takeaway from the PRI show, private equity is taking over much of the performance racing industry, meaning the bean counters are running the show instead of the innovators who made the companies great in the first place. Had a long conversation with the head of one such company, and it got me wondering if this might be a means to control the performance aftermarket as a whole.

For the last few months, Edelbrock companies-Comp Cams, Fast, TCI etc, have added 5% to the bottom of ALL invoices. A few days ago, received an email from them as of Jan 17, 2022 ?, All invoices, they will now ADD 10 %.

Welcome to inflation. For those that were not around in the 70's , cash becomes worth less than it was last month. If you
need something, buy it sooner than later. The other option is to buy nothing but Stocks or Gold and Silver and Bit coin.
Thank you Joe!!
Now if I could just get PPPC
to ship my lifters.!!!

Just google "Race Winning Brands" and scroll around to follow the **** show -
it looks like it was a subsidiary of some equity firm..... and was recently sold and bought by another.

I wonder if the RPM Act has anything to do with it.

Because the original owners took the buyout, got paid and left.
