Smile Re: Brake Rod

when changing from power brakes to manual brakes, the brake rod goes in a different hole on the pedal. This will give you more pedal leverage. Need to check a manual brake pedal.

Default Re: Brake Rod

instead of master cylinder going back in center where boooster was, relocate to top set of holes, alot of brake pedals have a hole above where your pin is now,I have took and ground bradded side of pin off remove from that hole and put in uper hole, then tig welded it in place.
If master cylinder just has a small countersunk place for rod, remove piston and drill countersink into a hole for rod to go into ,and fabricate retainer so rod can't come out of master cylinder. I have welded freeze plug with hole for rod to go through to plate that goes on firewall and weld washer on brake rod so it can only come back far enough that brakes don't drag.
If only has countersink rod can come out and that is'nt good
