Re: Quick Fuel Carburetor
I do not know if it is legal or not. I can say that we run their carbs on our Comp and Super Stock Modified cars with great success. Pick up the phone and call Phillip Vickous at QuickFuel. He is a good dude and will be more than helpful. Good luck!

Re: Quick Fuel Carburetor
It is legal in NHRA and IHRA stock eliminator classes. We run it and it works great. I would check with you IHRA director, or Quick Fuel.

Re: Quick Fuel Carburetor
I don't know about the gas carbs but the alky carbs out of the box work great! Never heard any bad talk about the gas carbs!

Re: Quick Fuel Carburetor
Thanks for the feedback guys. The rules states any OEM or aftermarket Holley carburetor. I was just trying to get some clarification because I thought there were some stockers running Quick Fuel brand carbs. IHRA usually follows NHRA closely regarding rule changes. I emailed the IHRA Div. 2 director but have not heard back yet. I will also contact Philip @ Quick Fuel. Thanks again, Jason.

Re: Quick Fuel Carburetor
I had a 385 FB Crate customer that used one. It picked up on the dyno a little from a 4779 750 Holley.

Call Tim Sloan!!!
I bought a quick fuel carb from him for my crate motor stocker. Absolutely love it. Only adjustment i needed to make was idle. John Beasaw I/CM '70 chevelle |

Re: Quick Fuel Carburetor
I ran a 750 SS Quick Fuel and it worked great on my crate engine back when they paid contingency. I would still be using it, but Holley pays now and their aluminum version carbs seem to work just as well.

Yes, thanks, I saw that. But I've run the Holley for several years now and have tuned it to my current engine combo. So I don't want to change anything at this point. But I like them both.
