with the 429/340 HP (480 ft-lbs of torque)

Yes it was one of the first. I didnt know they existed until I saw Leon's car. The 409/340 HP cars were P/G's or 4 speeds. The 400 HP 409's were all sticks. Leon can tell you about the 65 396 when you catch him at a Div. one race. It was that pale green color and a really good loooking car. The Vette he races today is the one I found for him back in the "stone age" that he raced as a stocker for several years. It was an original 427/390 HP automatic car painted in silver w/black interior.

Will have to ask him next season at a race. Off the big car thing but I wonder what happen to his brother 69 camaro S/Stock

Eddie sold the Camaro (dont know who bought it) Then went Comp. racing with a R.E.D. with a Lingenfelter engine. Then he got married and built a home and quit racing.

No problem......The Dragster was a big block that ran in A/ED and I think he won Englishtown with it many moons ago. Dont remember the exact year.
